Jinnah was a great Indian - Jaswant Singh thinks so
The controversial BJP leader Jaswant Singh is set to get entangled into more controversy after the release of his book "Jinnah - India, Partition, Independence." He has reportedly praised Jinnah as being a great Indian and has blamed Congress party particularly Pandit Nehru for demonizing him and portraying him as the biggest Hindu hater and solely responsible for partition, which is set to raise many eyebrows not only from Congress party but from BJP hardliners as well as Sangh leaders. In a recent interview on "Devil's Advocate" being interviewed by Karan Thapar on CNN-IBN, Jaswant Singh has made some startling facts about Jinnah, otherwise being considered by almost all Indians as the person solely responsible for partition, about him being a great Indian. Here are some excerpts from the interview:
If he subscribes to the popular demonization of Mohammed Ali Jinnah?
“Of course I don’t. To that I don’t subscribe. I was attracted by the personality which has resulted in a book. If I was not drawn to the personality I wouldn’t have written the book. It’s an intricate, complex personality, of great character, determination.”
If he views Jinnah as a great man?
"Oh yes, because he created something out of nothing and single handedly he stood against the might of the Congress Party and against the British who didn’t really like him ... Gandhi himself called Jinnah a great Indian. Why don’t we recognize that? Why don’t we see (and try to understand) why he called him that?”
If, in his view, Jinnah was a nationalist?
“Oh yes. He fought the British for an independent India but also fought resolutely and relentlessly for the interest of the muslims of India … the acme of his nationalistic achievement was the 1916 Lucknow Pact of hindu-muslim unity.”
Asked if the view held by many in India that Jinnah hated hindus was mistaken?
“Wrong. Totally wrong. That certainly he was not … his principal disagreement was with the Congress Party .. .he had no problems whatsoever with hindus.”

The most awaited movie in some time Kaminey finally released yesterday. The movie will be a super-duper hit because of 10 reasons I think essential for a typical Bollywood masala movie to click.
1. The very unique title "Kaminey" in itself is able to draw the crowd flocking to the theater. Kaminey means very schematic persons who can go to any extent to get their work done. Has anyone been paid by RIchPTC?
Of late, RichPTC has made quite a wave on Internet because of the unique concept in PTC industry that it brought with it. Click 1 link, earn 1 dollar; your downline clicks 1 link, earn 0.5 dollars. Reach 1000 dollars and get paid in 60 business days. Well moneymaking cannot be easier than this. But, there is some interesting data that you must believe. If you look at their payment proof, you will see 148 users who have reached the 1000 dollars limit and have requested payouts. When I transferred the entire list to an Excel sheet and summed up the entire earning, the total payout came out to be exactly 154,037.21 dollars which matches exactly the amount shown on RichPTC website.
Now, another interesting fact, the first payout is listed as to be done on April 20, 2009 and the user name is Neobux (I don't know if it is the best PTC site in the world Neobux or someone else who is using the username neobux). Till April 30, 2009, 7 members have requested payouts, so according to my calculation after taking into account the 60 business days concepts, at least these 7 members should have been paid by RichPTC if they had been active for the last 3 months also. I am not asking them to post their payment proof, just requesting them to confirm whether they have been paid or not, so that we users who have almost reached the payout limit (I have made 860 dollars till now and should be able to claim by next week) vouch positively for RichPTC and can bring a lot many members under our downline if we know that we will be paid. I think in the best interest of RichPTC as well as all the members, these 7 members will do a lot good if just anyone of them can confirm about the payment received. Please if anyone has actually received payment, please say yes, we are desperately waiting to see just one "yes" to keep us motivated enough to keep clicking and bringing a lot more referrals.

Emran Hashmi stirred up a hornet's nest
Seems like kissing deva has found another reason to hit the headlines again. The self-proclaimed kissing king who has taken more kisses than any other Bollywood actor on-screen has been caught on the wrong foot, not for being denied a smooching by some diva but for being denied a flat in the posh Mumbai locality for being a Muslim, as alleged by him. Well, the allegation might be right or wrong, but the question is how justified Mr. Hashmi in stirring up a hornet's nest for such a trivial manner. Rather than going to media, he should have gone to a police station and would have lodged a complaint but instead he preferred to make an outburst in media so to hog the maximum limelight. Renting out a house to someone or for that matter anyone is the sole prerogative of the house owner. Now, if he does not want to let his out to someone what is so big a deal about this. You can always have a different house. In India, it is the usual practice to let the house out to someone who you think you will be comfortable with. A vegetarian landlord would always prefer to let out his house to a vegetarian tenant, so all the non-vegetarian people should start complaining about discrimination.
